A Nostalgic Journey Through Maui


While going through my ritual year-end cleaning, I found pictures that took me back to my youth living in Oahu from 1985 to 1991. The Hawaiian Islands have always held a special place in my heart, with Maui one of my favorite places to visit. Its enchanting Lahaina town, pristine beaches, and exhilarating ocean experiences created memories that have stayed with me forever.


My visits to Maui as a young adult in the early 90s were magical. With its charming and historic aura, Lahaina felt like stepping into a world where time paused to let you soak in its beauty. The bustling Front Street, lined with quaint shops and restaurants, offered a glimpse into its rich culture and heritage.


The beaches of Maui were where the real magic happened. The golden sands stretching for miles, kissed by azure waves, were more than just a visual treat; they were my sanctuary. The thrill of windsurfing in Maui is unforgettable, gliding on the ocean is something words can't capture.

In my imagination, I could never ride the waves back then.

From Memories to Action


The Maui I cherished has faced significant challenges. The impact of recent fires has left scars on the landscape I fondly remember. This stark contrast between memory and reality inspired me to start "Insights that Impact" as I realized that our global research and scrum market intelligence consultancy could serve another purpose — giving back.




A Vision for Change

For every survey completed in our quantitative marketing research initiatives from now until the end of Q1 2024, we will contribute $1 to the rebuilding efforts in Maui. It's not just about restoring what was lost — it's about revitalizing the spirit of this beautiful island.


Our vision is to see Lahaina bustling with life again, the beaches restored to their former glory, and the surf breaking just like it used to when I was young and searching.


Our Role in This Journey

With our studies, respondents are not just sharing their opinions but also contributing to a noble cause. Each completed survey brings us closer to our goal of reviving the Maui, which brought joy to many, including myself.
